Won't even go there, the 352 FE, like the 332, were Truck motors and were never intended for his rpm use.
They had low end balls but not much more.
Like the infamous Chebby 409, another truck motor someone thought would make a good car engine...  not !  They tend to break apart.

Back a few years, quite a few, all that we had was look for a large displacement motor, fit it in and go for it, if it worked out then we won a street race or two.  Once the car makers started making "out the door" car with big HP then things started to change and we the engine changers got left behind.

Now if we were talking the 427 cross bolted Fords or the 427 Chebby, those were just plain old bad ass motors.   I always looked for a BBF 427 but never found one in the JY.

Just my opinions not trying to get anyone pissed !

I always wanted to try a 429 SCJ in my '72 Gran Torino but it never happened. The JY in town had a balanced and blue printed 351 C that was all souped up and I hear a guy bought it,put it in his truck then rolled the truck and junked the whole thing. I thought to myself, what a waste.
