I've gotten a litter better at figuring out the codes,I've had to do that on my 1999 F150 a few times. My first experience with computers was on my old 1985 F150 that had a feedback carburetor on it. It didn't run worth a crap and I couldn't get it to give me any codes so I got a carburetor and distributor for a 1977 F150 and did away with the computer,It ran good after that. Now to my surprise electronic ignition was an option that year so I got 1 with points so I wouldn't have to install the electronic ignition module and all used then and got a electronic upgrade for the points distributor that you just put in where the points was suppose to go. The only other thing I had to do was put a resistor in theĀ primary circuit.
