Was playing with this today, going to make one and see how long it takes to run on the machine. Then I'll see how it fits on the motor. Then if anyone wants one lets talk :)

Here is a raw simulation of how the cut will (or should) look off the machine:

Sweet! Its small details like the upper intake plate that really help make the V8 conversions look professionally done.

Just out of curiosity did you map the Ranger logo or did you actually find the font used?

I mapped it, drew it manually. I did a Raster to Vector in Mastercam on a picture then made lines and curves to match. Took a while.

I wonder if I can find the actual font used... and if so, maybe.., just maybe, see how hard it would be to create something even if a one-off. Head is reeling with ideas..!

Looks great, I see you added 2 screws also.

I did one on a cummins valve cover that was in a white F250.

Didn't get a pic but I still have the cad file

What about ranger 5.0 like the expos had for a couple years ? I’d buy that for sure . What would cost be for this kinda work realistically? And if one offs can be made I’d like to get one for my sons fox that Id swapped a gt40 intake onto . It would just say “bully” . His name for it

I dunno but I have been given the OK to buy some stock and do the research. Nice if we could come up with a decent product to pitch not tractor related.

I'll order a strip of 3/16 monday and see what I can come up with for a path.

I could have them cast if I could be sure I could get rid of them and it would be MUCH cheaper.

After the machining scenario is done you could do just about anything on there if it was a vector graphic and would scale.

So this project is FINALLY a go. Now if I can only get approval for the water sensor tube...

What is the width of this 3/16" Strip you will be using.

My Intake does not take the standard top plate !
